ORBIC is a sterile, single-use short-term hemodialysis catheter designed to provide temporary vascular access between the patient and the dialysis system for acute and short-term hemodialysis. Manufactured from polyurethane, ORBIC is available in single, double, and triple lumen configurations and in multiple sizes and lengths.
Main uses
ORBIC is intended to provide temporary vascular access for hemodialysis treatment. Depending on the selected multi-lumen configuration, it may also support:
- Central venous pressure monitoring
- Continuous or intermittent venous infusion/transfusion
The catheter can be placed through the internal jugular, subclavian, or femoral vein using the Seldinger technique and is intended for use for less than 30 days.
