ENERGY CT PICC

Versatile central venous access for infusion therapy and power injection.

ENERGY CT PICC is a peripherally inserted central catheter designed for short- or long-term central venous access. It supports intravenous fluid and medication administration, nutritional therapy, blood sampling, and power injection of contrast media in designated configurations.

Product description

ENERGY CT PICC is a peripherally inserted central catheter manufactured from medical-grade polyurethane, designed to provide short- or long-term access to the central venous system. The catheter supports intravenous therapy, blood sampling, and, depending on catheter size and configuration, power injection of contrast media.

Main uses

ENERGY CT PICC is designed for short- or long-term central venous access and may be used for:

  • Intravenous administration of fluids
  • Administration of medications
  • Nutritional therapy
  • Blood sampling
  • Power injection of contrast media within the specified flow and pressure limits

The catheter may be inserted through the basilic, cephalic, or median cubital vein. The 3Fr configuration may be used in neonates, infants, and children.

Key characteristics
  • Suitable for short- and long-term central venous access
  • Made from medical-grade polyurethane
  • Supports infusion therapy, nutritional therapy, and blood sampling
  • Power injectable up to 5 mL/sec and 300 psi for designated configurations
  • Reverse-taper catheter design
  • Catheter can be trimmed to the required length
  • Luer-lock compatible
  • Catheter tip position can be confirmed by X-ray/fluoroscopy
  • Sterile and non-pyrogenic
  • Single-use
  • Ethylene oxide (EO) sterilized

LIFEPIC

Reliable central venous access designed for extended intravenous therapy.

LIFEPIC is designed to provide reliable access to the central venous system through a peripheral vein in the arm. It supports intravenous therapies that may require repeated or extended venous access, helping reduce the need for frequent peripheral needlesticks.

Product description

LIFEPIC is a PICC line designed to provide access to the large central veins near the heart through peripheral insertion, typically from a vein in the upper arm. It provides venous access for the delivery of medications, nutritional therapy, and other treatments and may remain in place for several weeks depending on the patient's treatment requirements.

Main uses

LIFEPIC may be used for:

  • Administration of medications, including certain cancer therapies
  • Total parenteral nutrition (TPN)
  • Administration of antibiotics and antifungal medications
  • Blood sampling
  • Blood transfusions
  • Administration of contrast media before imaging procedures
Key characteristics
  • Provides central venous access through a peripheral vein
  • Typically inserted through a vein in the upper arm
  • Designed to reduce the need for repeated peripheral needlesticks
  • Suitable for therapies requiring frequent or extended venous access
  • Supports administration of medications and nutritional solutions
  • May be used for blood draws and blood transfusions
  • May support administration of contrast media for imaging
  • Placement may be guided or confirmed using ultrasound and/or X-ray imaging
  • Can remain in place according to the duration of the prescribed treatment
